Jim Nolan

Jim is Sussex through and through. His parents raised him here, his four kids live here and he has it running through his veins.

He also can’t get enough good beer. It started with trouble doing “home brews” at school and the logical step ,if you love beer as much as he does, is to set up a brewery. Having created a successful vineyard just down the road at Black Dog Hill his experience there is invaluable to HDB. Above pictured the original “Hairy Dog”. His beloved childhood pet.

Hairy, full of love and totally loyal this mutt inspired HDB. Jim’s obsession with promoting the great things about Sussex is a huge driving force. He also drinks one of the quickest pints you’ll ever see.
